I'm sorry to be the first detractor.........but my nuts don't swell at the site of a 1JZ! And that's really not what I consider to be a good looking car. It's got a garden hose sticking out of it for Christ's sake!

I do appreciate the effort that has gone into it tho. To me tho, a car is more than just a go fast machine.

Question****** Is the 1JZ an N/A, or does that oil cooler not interfere with the efficiency of the intercooler?

I wasn't aware that oil lines and garden hose were the same thing?
I don't think you really realize at all how much work as put into this car, I was there for a good portion of those 4 months watching and giving a hand where I could.
It's turbo.
And let me pose that same question for you, does your intercooler on your car get in the way of your radiator?
For all you haters-
Go put the equal amount of work Eddie puts into his cars and then come back and try to say shit.
Thx bye.

Yes, I'm quoting myself....for those of you who didn't read what I said!

I simply stated I don't like it. Are you trying to take that right from me?

I do understand that you don't like it, that's your right.

The amount of time that it takes to make a car (wagon) like that is inzane. You came in bashing his work and his taste, what about what he likes?Bashing should be kept to your self . You dont see beyond the Oil cooler and the engine that he installed. Im sure you didn't read about the IRS he installed or the R154 that fit in to that car.

To the owner of this car,

My car was always bashed online; don't let shiet like this discourage you from visiting this site.

I merely stated I didn't like it. I didn't bash anything (except maybe a garden hose). I have stated my opinion, and I'm out!

Behave kiddies... We all dont have to like the same thing... Respect each other's opinions, even if you disagree... It doesnt need to get ugly...

BTW: Soapra, who would diss your car? Is insanely unique and well done!

That is a crazy looking car, I dont think I have ever seen one of those before. The side mirrors are sweet.

I disagree with whoever said not to paint it tho, I would redo it in the same color. Or maybe an oldschool style two tone with orange and black

this isnt Japan, hide that oil cooler, young man!

it's sweet, i love that it's not perfect...

personally, I would have swapped either an S/C'd 1UZ, or a single turbo 2jz, but you cant go wrong, either way...

I'd paint it personally just to keep the rust away...

I'd be scared of that oil cooler sitting there though, one rock and it's game over...

I come from a land down under
Don't like the external cooler......

Does this mean I'm bashing it?

No not at all just stating an opinion which SHOULDN'T be the cause of Sandy Vaginas and bitch fights breaking out come on guys if someone came in and slammed the car I'd be the first to defend it but this just isn't the case here.

(waaaaaayy back when I first started posting people thought I was either insane or the Toyota AntiChrist for daring to use non toyota parts, cars are an outlet for expression and this is his)

As I stated above I don't like the external cooler but that's purely from a functional PoV as I'd end up killing it in the middle of nowhere.

(My background is circuit racing and I've seen so many dead coolers it's not funny, my team thought I was nuts when I suggested using a Male and Female fitting on the Cooler so if we lost one you could quickly bypass it until the parts were in the lane ready to replace it on the next lap)

Awesome car man, welcome to the site, but like IJ stated: The oil cooler just looks to low, and it just seems like a hazard you could avoid.

And
soapra: Who the hell bashed your car! Where they at, I'll knock some sense into them!

Thanks for all the positive and negative comments.

I built this car, because I knew there would be people who hate it, love it, love parts of it, hate parts of it.

If you don't like the oil cooler... thats cool.... I don't like the color of your car, I don't like the way you dress, I don't like the way your breath smells... So its all good.

So in all honestly, comments are comments. Whether they are for or against something, thank you for your inputs. I build my cars for my expectations and standards. I have hands and a brain, and if my oil cooler gets wiped out, I have my warning light that comes on if my oil level gets below 2 quarts, and then I have my oil pressure warning light if the level isn't enough.

The car will stay about the same, with just a couple minor additions; such as a front duckbill. There is no rust cancer on the body or chassis, the only rust you may see is surface rust, which poses no threat even in the long term. If I leave the car like this, I can assure you that the body will see no further decay even after another whopping 15 years of daily grinding.

Good luck, and have fun!
