My other car my 88 honda was broke down but didnt look bad, but after a few months they sent us some bs letter telling us to move it.My mom found spot for us to stick it and we moved it of course. Then a year later we moved as that was one of several reason to turn us off from this otherwise nice neighborhood. I believe failure to comply in a reasonable amount time is some type of small fine
I would clean it up. It is an eyesore but you could buy a car cover and put down HA HA on the top of it in nice letters?

I have been there I dad mine parked across the street at my house and they
sent us aletter saying that there was a white car in disrepair sitting in the street and needs to be removed.
BorHor is right just leave it there and complain about something. they shouldnt bug you anymore after that. thats what i did and we havent got anything else about the car.

i know EXACTLY how you feel...
but my car hasn't been driven in about 4 months.. i got a notice exactly like that because someone took the time to come up and check my stickers; they are giving me a month for me to renew my registration before it gets towed.. jesus the HOA have nothing better to do with their times i want to cut myself lol i cant afford the $50 to renew right now damnt

I hate these guys as well...someone bitched about a car we have on our property, but funny thing is, just down the street there's 6 cars/trucks halfway torn apart and sitting all over the property in plain view.
i'd hate to put on a car cover on and off each time i go to school and work. plus car covers are against regulation here because it is considered storage. my nieghbor just told to go to the monthly hoa meeting and plead my case. she got a letter awhile ago about her son's car that sits there. it turns out that if you have a "non op" or current registration from the dmv they can't do squat.

Just tell them it's obvious you're living in the ghetto, they just need to stop pretending. That will get their panties in a knot.
car covers are against the regulations because they consider it storage. plus i use the car every day, the car cover would be impractical for daily use
i'm just gonna keep it like this and fight it. they can send all the letters they want i didn't break any rules. i just read the regulations and rule booklet. it doesn't anything about eyesores or graffitied cars on driveways. my car is parked on the driveway not being stored there like they're claiming
Just roll it back/forward in the driveway a few feet every once in a while. Tell them(hoa) you live a night life and the car is driven not being stored. The only problem with the car is its not being moved, it can be as ugly as you want it as long as its moved.
I also hate the hoa, bunch of house moms with no thing better to do than hassle people.

Just read you drive it lol, let them take it to court and waste their own time and money. Its not being stored bottom line, you have it insured/registered and can prove its being driven(gas receipts). I say spray paint it more just to piss them off further.
