Even though I would tell the lay person to follow the automotive manufacturers recomendations, I have seen otherwise work very well.

The Army has a program that actually works well.(besides combat) It is called AOAP for Army oil analysis program. And your oil is sampled and changed at direction. I shit you not, we had some heavy trucks with oil in them that had not been changed in 5 years. Doesn't mean they all work that way though.

Is there anything you can not get on ebay?

lines?

well don't use me as heolp for that as I am using -12 AN lines from the remote filter adpater to the oil filter to the oil tstat and back, From the oil t-stat to the oil cooler I am using -10. I think I can fit nearly THREE OEM lines in my -12 lines......lol!

Looking at this kit and the matching canton components hmmm thinking here........

Ebay for like $70 or the matching canton components for oh $170. hmmm http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/accusump.htm (scroll down you'll see it)

Seems they both allow for gauge taps (different sizes though? what is standard oil temp/pressure gauge tap size?).

The ebay has the sandwich filter lines pointing straight out while canton will go down and can rotate to whatever you want.

The ebay remote filter housing does top load only while the canton allows for either side filter hook up (unused become the gauge taps).

how is the ebay kit going siman, any issues yet? more feedback?

does anyone know how the hoses are routed to adapters. Such as you have an IN and an OUT on each one but which is which. I have mine set up with the outer one on the block going to the outer one on the filter part, then the inner one goes to my cooler and from the cooler into the inner one at the block. I am getting a thermo so dont worry but I need to make sure I have it set up right as of now.

which one is suppose to be the OUT and which one is suppose to be the IN?
As far as on the adapters one is in the center of the adapter and the other sits further on the edge.
In my drawing I showed how one sits on the edge and one is in the center and that is how I ran mine but unsure if it is correct or if it matters
