My car unfortunately has a leaky rear transmission seal, so it leaks oil onto the catalytic converter. So you can imagine what that smells like.

What is the proper way to describe the "supra" smell ?

Supras usually smell like a combination of the following:

-Burning oil (all types)
-Burning coolant
-Burning oil & coolant
-Dirty carpet
-Rust
-And usually an air freshener to try and cover it up

my first supra used to always smell like gear oil, i had to keep a gallon of it in the trunk to fill it up every 2 weeks because the diff leaked so bad... god does gear oil smell bad.

Mine smells okay except for the engine smell. Thats because I will need to seal the grommet on the firewall where my wideband and gauge wirings come in.

Mine smells like a strange mixture of "clean" (dunno how else to describe it) and then after about 10 minutes or so, the scent of burning oil returns to me, lol.
