That's because 1JZ's are girly and are supposed to smell purdy, whereas 7M's are manly and are supposed to have a musky, manly smell to them .

mine used to smell like some candle that one of the previous owners let melt in the center console (that little flip up thing that most use as a cup holder), and cigars (previous owner, thank god he didn't have it long)

mine is smelling pretty new these days, got a lot of new interior pieces that where kinda...rotting

i'm working on that...once my build is done i wont have to worry about that anymore...I HOPE!

Mine only smells of fuel if I have been beating on it for over 5 min. This smell is faint and only last for a few miles afterwards. The interior has no discernable smell. I made a point to steam clean every square inch when I got the car, I guess that paid off.
