I'm just wondering with the ES bushing when you install the control arm bushings is there a metal sleeve(outer shell of old bushing) that has to be pressed out before the es bushings can be installed?
Yes

to continue this thread hi jack remember the seat rules if you do wheel to wheel racing. if you buy a tube and cloth seat it has to have metal bracketing in the back to support it. so you should just pay up and get a nice bucket set like the sparco pro
Thats the plan, Sparco Evo or Pro2000. Or a Racetech, whatever I can get for free or very cheap, lol :D

I'm confused...who's selling these bushings? I seem to remember CkAnderson saying he had them, is that right?

Yes I sell them. Some of you guys might remember me collecting e-mails from you guys to send to Mike Papzian to convince him their was actualy a supra market.

This is how its set up

Manufacturer-->Wholesale Distributer-->Retail Shop-->Customer.

We are the WD.

Yes, as the bushings need to be pressed out and in...

I don't know that you have to press the bushings in. I have installed some es kits on different cars and most es bushings are a 2 piece design with a metal sleeve thats inserted after the bushings in place. So you don't really press them in but a vice really makes the job a lot quicker.

'Kay. So with the '91, I now need some front lower control arm bushings. Since the '90 was fine, I got rid of my Obtanium set and now wish I hadn't.

Where can I get some front lower control arm bushings and have them in a reasonable mount of time? If they are aftermarket, please also link me to install instructions.

Car's on the road and they got the alignment as close as they can get, until I replace these bushings.

FYI, went to the 935 site and don't see 'em. Would love to support the community in this group buy (or whatever), but if this is still waiting on R&D, Go/No-Go, then I need a faster option for getting these.

No, they are out - Contact CKAnderson. Figured, they come to market right when I went to jail. I have to take care of some other things before I buy a set of these :3d_frown:

I call shenanighans. If BIC says he can make them, ES can make them!

just FYI, BIC doesnt really make those mounts... go look through the summit racing catalog for transmission mounts. and you'll see his exact mount. all he did was put it all together.

The fronts I believe were $130ish for the set. Energy doesnt stock these, they're "made to order" so when I tell them to they'll make the set up and ship it out. I'll get and exact price for you tomorrow when they're back open.

$130?! Damn, not even. More like $100. I left my price sheet at the shop so I'll have to give you guys the exact figure tomorrow. Its like $40 for the front and $60 for the rear or something similar to that.

Saw some brief instructions at Driftmotion, but there was no reference to installing the zerk fittings, which was almost a must for the nylon Obtanium set I had before.

Are these quieter and not needing to be lubed after insall?
