but how in the fuck can caps go bad at night when its just sitting in the damn driveway???!?!?!?! it ran PERFECTLY yesterday

I read this as saying the next day it ran perfectly. And cars don't fix themselves. But the symptom is easily explainable.

They are, I just replaced them and now the ecu works fine.

A faulty wire can def make a ECU fail. Especially a bad or a shorting wire to an injector.

Us soarer guys are lucky. Theres a shop in australia that sells rebuilt Soarer ECU's for $250 shipped to the USA with a warranty
