I didn't know until only a couple weeks ago that the 1uz has an aluminum block. Apparently it's ~150 lbs less than the 7mgte. So... would it be less crazy if I keep my single turbo ideas to myself? Lol

Since my Aristo is FINALLY running, I have been thinking about this with kamakaziimkiii.

I think either ls(1,2,7,x whatever) and T56 if 2wd, or maybe 1UZ. There's a nutter overseas that made one AWD with a complete list of parts.

So I was thinking, 750AWHP. And weight reduce it down to say 2500lbs. And go tell an overly cocky evo guy you wanna race from a dig! It's fix the traction problems. Either Racelogic traction control, or AWD. Tough choice.

I've decided NOT to put a 2JZ in it, (if I keep it for myself), since I have a 2JZ-GTE Converted GS300 now, and my G/F has a 2JZ-GE MKIII, and she could get my hand-me-down go fast goodies. But If I keep the 240, and go nutz with it, it'll be with the intention of making it just stupid fast, and not worrying about silly things like road legal, emissions, etc.

Um, I think i have to agree with the 1g-gte, simple really, you get an I6 Twin Turbo at around the same weight as a 4cyl engine..... that car would be CRAZY fast. Yeah 7M would be fun and "Different" but if you wanted to make a MONSTER toyota powered 240 I would say 1g that thing and let it FLY! :p

:umno: It's still an iron block with an aluminum head, it's not going to be much lighter than the 7M and not anywhere near the power level.

What part of light car + big powerful engine don't you understand? :biglaugh:
