Hey glad to see you guys made it out there and back with no issues. How was the fuel economy on the highway? Wish i could have driven out there with you guys, last years drive accross the state was awesome not to mention the record time we made.

Meet was great. Nice to see everyone again although I missed some people. I followed a catfish and they always seem to lose their direction. :biglaugh:

Duane

Matt, what did you mean when they saw Tom's car?

STFU Daune!:icon_mad: You know what he meant! My car has big nasty sounds coming from it at 6000+ rpm...and if that doesn't get ya', the oil smoke will!!!:biglaugh:
Wish that shot of Matt and I, with the STi was alot clearer. Very cool non the less. Thanks to you guys for making the long trek over from "da' east side".

Definitely, hit me up any time. I suppose I could have a little fun with the boss now that I could actually tune for it, but I'v got something else in the works to take care of the tired CT. :evil2:

The camera seemed to like the bottle caps better than the pistons. At least that's where it focused anyway... :biglaugh:

No real hurry, I just want to see the truck done. Any progress on figuring out the fuel cut issue? Is your down pipe dumping after the firewall like the original plan? and did you try a different actuator?

Yeah I'm still trying to fit the torque plate in this week just to get it done. It's not that it's difficult it's just hard to get on the good mill. We only really have one that's set up to do that much pocketing in aluminum....and get it done in a reasonable amount of time.

The down pipe dumps out under the cab. It's probably about 3.5 or 4' total in length.

I haven't had a chance to look into it further yet. I got another actuator. It's the one off of the car when it was running so I would assume it's good. I will check it with a vacuum pump to be sure though. I should get that done tomorrow and go from there.

If that checks out try taking a dremel to the waste gate hole. You can open it up as much as you want as long as you leave a mm or 2 of overlap between the hole and the flap. Also radius the edge of the hole towards the turbine inlet but don't touch the inner edge. I had to do this to mine just so I could run less than 10psi, and that was with a full 3 inch exhaust. With your dump pipe you are probably "flowing too well" of all things and the stock wastegate can't keep up.

And I will still be expecting you here tomorrow :D
