Hey, I live real close also and I will be there before anyone else, besides Josh..... HaHaHa...:biglaugh:

Welcome to SupraMania. You have a son every man would be proud to call his own. He has been an inspiration on here for a while. I would love to come meet him when he has recovered fully. I said when and not if, cause I know it's just a matter of time before he is up and running. You just can't keep a good man down.

Now go out there and buy you a MKIII and start fixing it up. There are alot of them out there that need a good home. If you're anything like Josh, you'd be a great supra owner. I know you have a MKII, and that's great, but you don't know what you're missing if you haven't driven a turbo.................lol

Thanks for the welcome. I am very proud of my son. When we get through with all of this we will all get together and celebrate.
I am a proud owner of one 88 MKIII turbo, It's been totaled, but has a good motor which I have pulled out and hope to install in my MKII. I want to feel the boost too, just without all the weight......LOL...just kidding guys. I get ribbed all the time from Josh about who has the best Supra.:naughty:

Boosted: Im still in the hospital right now but my dad was considering dropping it off sometime this week. He said we'll probably have to leave it overnight if thats cool, and hopefully pick it up the next day. But tommorrow Im going to have another bone marrow aspiration, so no time, hopefully later this week, time permitting. But I look forward to getting out of here and driving the car with fresh struts!

That is one heck of an analogy. Only a true supra owner could come up with that. +1 for you Robbo.

Mark, MKII with a 7MGTE is dead sexy. Can't wait to see the transformation completed. Post pics asap.

Boosted, +1 to you for hooking the man up with some struts. I know you work for someone, but sounds like you want to do the work yourself.

Josh, Hope the bonemarrow aspiration isn't as painful as it sounds. Hopefully you are heavily medicated, but you always sound so level headed and drug free when you post on here..................lol

He's not only been in our thoughts, but in our prayers. ...and you too for that matter. As a parent of two, I know how having children gives you a whole new definition of love, and I can't imagine what it must be like to see your boy like this. You're obviously a strong example for all of us, too. If I get the chance, I would like to make the trip to Nashville to celebrate his new health with everybody else. Louisville to Nashville is an easy trip for something worth celebrating!

Josh & Mark - I don't know if you've looked into it, but there might be another really good resource on the internet available to you in a leukemia forum somewhere. A few years ago I had a rare autoimmune disorder (leukocytoclastic vasculitis) that was caused by a severe reaction to a mold spore - or so they think. I was very lucky to beat it, but there was an incredible forum that really helped me and my family out. They helped me understand treatment options and how to ask the right/important questions to my doctors, but more importantly they offered an incredible amount of moral support from people who really understood what we were going through. A quick referral from your doctors or web search could point you in the right direction.

I know you've all learned more about cancer than you ever wanted, but if you never thought of it or ever come across it, there are a lot of caring people out there going through similar experiences who might be able to help a little more. As far as what I can offer, I will continue to remember to send a prayer your way every day.
