Yes he knows, but sometimes I think they would like to throw him out anyway :biglaugh: . I have car magazines and parts laying all around the room, and I dont think the nurses like that either! But they make me feel at home. I told you guys that I may get to go home for a few days, but that is probly not going to happen :( . My blood counts are staying too low and it wouldnt be safe. Plus the last coulple days my hair has be falling out VERY rapidly. But I also expected it so its just kinda uncool. But Im nearing the end of the first of three stages of chemo, so maybe the counts will come up rapidly! I dont know, but Im still dreaming of the time when I will be done with all this.
Thanks for the prayers and encouragement guys,
Josh M.

Dreadlocks FTW!!!!!!

Just kidding, only Lenny can pull those off. If you do get to come home Josh, and you get an advance notice let us know. If you can't come home and you want some company, my wife and I will drive up and see how you are doing. Keep fighting, and keep up the sense of humor. Laughter is very therapeutic.

My wife saids bald guys are sexy....................:naughty:

Well guys, no chance of coming home anytime soon, but Ive settled in here and its not so bad. I got lots of forms of entertainment so the days are passing by ok. If nothing else, I like the worry free time I get here. I dont have to worry about a job, what day it is, or even what time it is. So you guys should be jealous, I got people waiting on me hand and foot! This is the life!

Josh is the strongest man that I know. A smile like that while fighting cancer. Sometimes I question how things end up like they do, but I know there's an answer even though I can't see it. You are without a doubt the most awesome person I know. I can't wait to drive to Tennessee and meet you..........lol

Any one who has been inspired by my life or story, I am truely humbled. Because my look on depressing events is, there is and always will be less fortunate then me. So I count my blessings and Thank God for the gifts he has given me. And If the less fortunate can make it by day to day, who am I to complain? I will just keep my focus on the goals I have before me, and try to help anyone I can!

This reminds me of the story of the man with no shoes...
I can't think of exactly how it goes, but what you said reflects the story like no other. I've been keeping up with this thread since it was started, and it has touched me. Are you a superhuman with ungodly powers? Maybe not. But the way that you overlook all this makes I and all other SM members take life for granted. Your attitude has been so uplifted and with the support you have plus your strong willing, trust me. You will pull through this and become an even stronger person. You are my hero, Josh. :icon_surp

holy shit, this hits the heart hard. im 19 and i cant picture what i would do in your shoes. i have a fealing deep down inside that you are going to come out of this 1200% better and stronger than you were.

i have been reading this thread hoping to see the post saying "IM HOME FOR GOOD, i kicked the everliving shit outa this cancer" and untill i see ths post(or something of the sort) im going to keep you in my thoughts. everyone has got it right, for someone with your condition you have an EXTREMELY amazing outlook on the whole situation. if more people had this view of life, then the world would be a better place.

the thing that always brings me up after some messed up stuff happens is just relaxing to your favorite music. find something uplifting and high energy and your mood will become absolutely amazing and you will be ready to conquer your ailments
