Josh, what hospital are you at? I would love to send something to you. Maybe a stripergram or something. I know naked women always makes me feel better when I'm sick..............lol

Don't tell my wife I told you that. I'll just tell her I was trying to cheer you up......lol

Well today I got to eat my first meal, mash potatoes and chicken. Very bland food so I can keep it down, but filling since I havent eaten since monday morning! Good news is they things are going perfectly as planed! Bad news is my supra has been in the open, outside, and uncleaned for the past three days. So I hope I can convince my dad to at least put it in the garage. Poor supra!

Edit: Im at the Vanderbuilt Childrens Hospital so a Strippergram is probly not the best idea. Im with the same doctors who took care of me last time, so I know Im in good hands.

Glad to hear it Josh. I love mashed potatoes and chicken. Hope you get stronger everyday, and I hope the support you're getting from here gives you the strength to keep fighting. I don't know you at all, but I would love to meet you someday under some happier circumstances, and I know it will happen soon. Good luck and God bless................lol

My mom is a 10 year survivor now of breast cancer and for the first year (edit: after her relapse), every day I sent her some of the funniest jokes I could find and she would print them and take them to work and share them with her school. Some of them were a bit rude towards the end of the year and were not school freindly but she still liked them.

My suggestion is to watch the funniest movies you can think of or whatever makes you laugh out loud the most. Anything that helps remove some stress and lighten your mood.

Maybe we can start a thread of funny movies, jokes, clips and pranks or something for you? I would help ya.

Thanks guys. And the food was from KFC so it was really good! Joel I Also read the same thing somewhere, laughing releases endorphins even if you force yourself to do it. Truely amazing how the body works! You just have to know the little tricks to get yourself by. Thanks again guys, I always look forward to reading what you guys have to say.

Noob you may be on to something, but I was born in the most traditional way possible, not even a c-section. So I dont think that would be the cause of my problems. And I just got more bad news, my father doesnt match enough to be my bone marrow donor. So I have been put on the registery and they are searching for a donor to replace him. But today will be an easy day, just chemo. I dont get another surgery until tuesday! So I can "relax" until then.
Thanks for all the support guys,
Josh M.

Transplant matches can be heartbreaking situations sometimes. I know someone who had non-hodgekin's lymphoma, and neither parent a match. The worst part was that his two siblings matched each other - not him. It was tough on everybody, but a match was eventually found!

Keep your spirits and prayers up, and hopefully a match will be found for you soon. Sounds like a lot of people here are praying and pulling for you, and you can add me to that list, too.

Woah LouKY, you just blew my mind. Because you just described my situation perfectly! Neither one of my parents match me, and I also have two siblings who perfectly match......each other!
Thanks LouKY,

Listen I know I cant do much and I wish I could do more but I am pulling for you and praying for you. I know it will all be good because like people have said you own a supra, your tougher then the average joe. May god make the surgeons hands speedy and accurate and may your recouvery be full and quick.

Gob bless.
