ding ding ding.........we have a winner. I can be in Tennessee in about two or three hours. I don't know how far it will be from the state line to his house or hospital, but I'm there!!!!!!!!!

:drink1: .......Here's to you Josh. You probably don't want a beer right now, and I don't drink, but mine has Milo's tea in it. Praying for you daily, and I KNOW you're going to be fine.................lol

Dude, you are breaking my heart. There's no way an eighteen year old is suppose to be going through this. I will tell you this though Josh, You are a bigger man at 18 than alot of thirty year olds I know. You will never know how much I respect you for taking it like a man, and not feeling sorry for yourself. I know with your strength and our prayers, you'll be stronger than ever after these treatments.............much love and respect, Jay

I can't believe I was scared as I was when my doctor misdiagnosed me with thyroid Cancer. I thought my life was over.

You, Josh are a rle model for me, and probably many others out there. You are in my prayers.

Im down for a fund!

His car has some good upgrades, but I can't tell how good it is. Maybe we could collect enough money to have his car painted or something. I think it would be a great thing to show support for someone like Josh. What do the rest of you think?

Theres no reason for any one to go through this crap. My best friend lost his 12 y/o son to the same cancer, although it took him in less than 2 weeks.

Just keep the prayers rolling, and we need to make plans now to make a group appearance.

MDC, how about trying to get a date togeter. Maybe meet up there one Saturday morning or something. My wife and I could make it if it's a one day meet. I think it would be pretty cool to meet some of you guys and meet Josh.

Well I’ve been waiting to post in here trying to think of the right thing to say, but really, there is no “right” thing to say for something like this. Thankfully I’ve never had cancer, but I’ve seen many family members (all much older) go through it all. And it’s tough stuff, so I kind of understand what you’re dealing with. Like others have said, I wish you the best and if you’ve beaten it once before I’m sure you can do it again. You’re young and seem to have a good outlook on it, so I wish you the best and hopefully we’ll be reading an “I beat it again” thread soon.

Keep us all updated and you will be in my thoughts and prayers as will your family and friends that I know are also suffering.

And if there’s anything I can do in terms of raising money for a charity I’d be glad to help. Just let me know.

~Meg

Meggs is right. There is no "right" thing to say here....
Best of luck Josh. We're all pulling for you man. This is called a community for a reason. It's not a neighborhood, per se, but it is a community nonetheless. I've got faith in you that you've beat it once, you can beat it again.
Stay strong man. You're stronger than me, I can guarantee that.
