IBoughtASupra;1663913 said:Kenny's car won't be on the road until Spring, maybe he might bring it out if the roads are clean and salt free but I don't know how the weather is in Washington.
Then again, everyone who has kept up with this thread would kill him if he decided to take his Supra out in the snow.
SWD Fredester 3;1663925 said:Good job on the links. I was just looking at the ones JE--SIKKY makes for the Nissans. I want to change the front ones that came with the White Line sway bars. If JE can't come up with a set for mine I would buy a set for the front from you--if you have the extra pieces necessary.
Also, can't remember what sway bars you're using, BUT, JE--SIKKY is also making chrome moly sway bars, was thinking of letting them use my White Lines as a template to make some for the MK III.
Brakes look great, nice work. Are you using Goodrich bradded brake lines or stock? And do you have the Beech MC brace?
CajunKenny;1664047 said:That's a good question. I've decided to install a tubular manifold so that means that my IC Pipe and Down Pipe routing will need to be modified. So, that will be dependent on work and weather.
Every now and again, we get an "ok" day to take the car out. But, then we have to contend with the roads being sprayed with some sort of anti-freeze chemical that they spray on the roads here. It's almost as slick as ice! Fortunately, they don't use salt here. Only that spray stuff and a sand/gravel mix...
Don't worry...my soup doesn't see snow!
Ha ha...I don't even know what Sway Bars they are!! They look like S/T's. They came with the car so I'd have to go through all the receipts to know...
Yeah, if you end up needing a set of end links just let me know. I have a ton of material left over. The only thing I'm short on are the Heim Joints; but, that's easily remedied.
I'm running the stock brake lines for now. I have a set of SS one's from my 87; but, I think I'm just going to wait and get a complete Big Brake Kit.
So far, the best kit I have found is this:
Wilwood 4 Piston Calipers
Slotted Rotors
Brembo Pads
Goodrich Lines
Mounting Brackets
For $1050 (fronts only)
SWD Fredester 3;1664121 said:I asked Ian about his turbo manifold, it was a SSAC 321 that he had ceramic coated. They are out of N. Carolina, fairly inexpensive as I recall, talked to them a long time ago, you might want to check them out.

^Is that kit with stock slotted rotors or an upgraded?
SupraRon;1664195 said:Great progress Ken. The links look very well constructed. And I love the brake setup. Looks great just as suspected!
CajunKenny;1664209 said:The only thing I could find was old Supramania and SupraForums threads. One of them led me to a website; but, the pictured manifold had it located back toward the firewall.
There were several rotor choices. All were bigger than stock and varied in price. The most expensive ones were two piece slotted.
Ha ha...thanks Ron!
Yeah, the links are pretty stout. Waaaay overkill compared to stock!
IBoughtASupra;1664218 said:Link to that kit? The ARZ kit is still number one for me. Top quality is what Andy at Arizona designs.

Chambers;1665134 said:Wow, that brake kit is a pretty good price considering I will have about $700 in my mustang cobra big brake kit.
SupraRon;1665164 said:Or maybe stock should've been made that way to start with. Doesn't look like you had too tough of a time getting them off. Waiting for more updates...
