Show me a stand alone that I can plug in and drive without touching a thing.

Simple, Stinger 4 & P&P harness from Driftmotion. You do have to run a vacuum line from the intake manifold to the interanl map sensor, but even I can do that....

Damn guys....Ric is merely offereing a service like CK said. If you don't like the price, don't comment. I'm sure there are some people out there that would love to just plug in a tuned ECU and don't have to worry about tuning their car. I personally wouldn't have the time to do that. Yea, the price is steep. But, if someone wants to spend $1800, fucking let them.

Everyone gets so bent out of shape at everything that Ric posts. WTF is up with that lately? Grow up guys. Remember what happened recently with JetJock and Mattjk?

Ric isn't offering jack shit. He's advertising for Manictech.

You're right. There are people out there that would love a plug in play tuned ECU. I'm one of them. I have one. But I'd claw my eyes out with rusty nails before I spent 1800 dollars on an inferior product to a standalone that can do so much more in the same price range.

Matt and Jetjock have nothing to do with this. There were alot of threats and unnecessary things said between those two that were way offtopic. We're just having a discussion here that is 100% on topic. And if it seems like we're ganging up on Ric, well maybe it's because he's being a little irrational. Look at the content of the posts and not just the fact that it's a few guys disagreeing with 1 other guy.

$1800 is alot to some people, and to other people it's worth it being plug and play. If that wasn't true, Mine's ECU Company would have gone out of business 20 years ago.

[flame]It's just hard to market products to car owners where the product costs more then their car[/flame]

Right, because reflashing ECUs is Mine's only means of income. :stickpoke

Oh, here we go... Maybe you missed just about everyone here saying they would RATHER spend 1800 on a standalone. Did you see any posts that said, "I would not spend 1800 on an ECU for my Supra"? No.

Pay attention, man.

Go to Supraforums and ask the MK4 owners if they would rather have a reflashed stock ECU or an AEM EMS for the same price.

Emanage blue? LOL. That's the cheapest way to make zero whp and to blow a motor.

At least with an SAFC2 people on 1JZ's have dyno'd over 500whp. Any other piggy back is trash on a 1JZ except MAP ECU (2).

From SF post by Randy - becauseican

http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=305759&page=3

Well I finally got the E-manage installed fully, with all options, fuel injector harness, ignition control, pressure sensor........ Other mods are custom BIC twin GT28R turbo system, twin 2.5" downpipes, HKS Highpower exhaust, BIC top feed fuel rail, 550's, Turbonetics IC, Tial BOV, Mines ECU.

Well on 94 octane pump gas, at 14psi I made 378 HP and 372 TQ.

At 19psi, pump gas made 446 HP and 437 TQ.

AT 21 psi with 4 gallons C-16 made 480 RWHP and 456 TQ.

I was able to make about 30 hp more just by playing with the timing at the same boost. I could have easilly hit 500 rwhp but I blew my boost controller hose off and didnt know about it , it started over boosting so we called it a night. I must say the E-manage works very well with the 1JZ and esspecially with a tuned ECU ( Mines). I will post up the sheets soon. The curves are very nice with a big power band, at 4500 rpm I am making 360 TQ and 300 HP

Looks like the emanage worked pretty nice with a Mines ECU and I believe he was on a SAFC prior

OWNED!!!!!

I'm getting tired of arguing with people about ECU's and Power, when they are still on stock twins.

Never again will I show supramania products that actually help the community.

Come back, we were just having fun! I am not on twins, I am not on a 1J, I still have a 7M between the strut towers but a 2J is on the stand

:blah::blah::blah:

Why are you getting so butt hurt because we disagree with you? Maybe you missed it but at least 3 of the people you are having a discussion with have are not on stock twins.(csnow is 2j single in the works, tissimo had a single turbo and now a 2J, and rakkasan is single) :stickpoke

And maybe you missed the part where I said I HAVE A MINE'S ECU IN MY CAR!! No one is saying it's worthless. Read for content and meaning and not what you think we're saying.

Again... pay attention, man.

Quit being so childish with your "I'm taking my ball and leaving the court" mentality.

We're on 6 pages and you are STILL dodging and tap dancing around my original question. Is it or is it not your opinion that this 1800 dollar ECU is a better investment than a standalone.
