sounds like a low battery from the description. Got a charger? If that still doesnt work alot of times just while sitting the battery connections can corrode enough to make it not start.

Okay I officially want to take an RPG to my 89 supra! :1zhelp:

The car has been down for less than 7 full days. I had to take off the 3000 pipe, air surge tank, TB, valve covers to get to coolant leaks from heater hoses in the rear of the engine. I replaced them then decided might as well do a retorque since my valve covers were off! Also wired my reverse lights that steven89 had cut!:evil2:

Did not touch injectors, fuel rail, timing or cams

Every hose and vacuum line is in the right spot!
Hooked the battery up to cables for a min, my dad was telling me that wasnt the problem so he wouldn't do it any longer. It fired like once then went back to the startings noise. The starter does not make a click click noise in makes the noise you hear before your car starts up normally.

Even went and got 6 gallons of gas cause the needle was empty but still no luck.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT ELSE IS CAUSING THIS!!!!

I had code 41 which is TPS signal but was told that should still let it start unplugged!!! WTF WTF WTF is going on I hate you supra:runaway:

Hmmm. So the motor will turn over but won't start right? Are you sure the the coil packs are plugged in. When you crank the car is the tachometer moving? If not your then ecu is not receiving a signal from the cps. Start wiggling wires. This has got to suck for you and hope it gets figured out soon.

Yes it will turnover but not start. The tach will move as I try and start it and then when I'm not cranking it, it goes to the bottom....

This has got to be something so ridiculously easy since it ran fine before taking it apart. That's what makes this scenario so annoying. Pull a plug to see if you're getting fire. All the grounds connected?

Welll.... not embarrassed persay. But.... There are two bundles of wire coming from the starter. One bundle is red the other is yellow and they are grounded to the air surge tank. Well I had put both bundles on the bolt and tightened it and I guess one bundle came off the bolt in the process. So I tried it again and got both wire bundles on the bolt and she started right up! Damn I sent 12 hrs on this bitch today :3d_frown:

If I can get my passenger side window to work I plan on getting tint on Friday cause its really hot here. Also plan on a photoshoot when my car gets clean. Oh and she runs like a beauty with no more surging!

If you take the door cover off you can pull the wire from the window motor and jump it with a battery and if the window goes up or down your motor is good ,reverse the wires will make it go the other way.
