Bigaaron's "5M crank in a 7M" build thread!

More cool stuff today! I got my oil pump back today! I dropped it off about 3 weeks ago to be blueprinted and moly coated. I had mentioned that I wanted to make a 7m oil pump flow better a few months back to the machinist, and the machinist mentioned that he had long been considering making a whole line of upgraded oil pumps for different engines. Since the beginning of this project, upgrading the entire oiling system was one of the top things on the list. I had already got the awesome ARZ oil pump hardpipe, and I'm going to go with all -10 AN lines to a nice big oil cooler and remote filter (that will eventually be the 7m oil cooler kit I have been saying I wanted to do for too long now).
All the machine work is done on my engine now except a full balance job. Once the balance is done, the crank is going out for a oil-shed coating!

It's looking damn good, man! Remember, ATI rates that damper @ 500-550 SUSTAINED.
A quick blast to 650ish won't hurt things
I wouldn't do it at Duane or Nate's levels, though - that long ass crank is going to be wanting to wiggle on those mains
Also, love the Arias man - How well did they knock the cuts for the valves? (I just ask, because Shawn said if the Probes are too thin there, he'll knock them and radius all the edges - much like those Arias are)

This build has been quite a "crank".
Crank is getting an oil shed coating right now, and then the final assembly can begin. I should have some more pics next week.
