I just realized theres something up with that pickup.
Is it just moved more centrally in the pan to avoid oil starvation under high g's?
Like might happen when braking with big ass brakes, was that the idea?

Ah man I read this thing from the begining this morning. Sorry about your ill fortune with the crank. It is difficult to know for sure how good a weld is with a hardened piece. Now take and soften it with machining and welding then retreat it and it seems like its just not a match made in heaven. The molecular structure changes so much with heat gained and lost over time.

Perhaps a custom billet crank is called for?

I ran out of time and patience, I just don't have enough intrest in it anymore to pull it out and spend $1500-$2000 on a billet crank and put it all back together.

I have a 1jz with a single being prepped for swapping into this car right now.

I am going to part out the 7m and cut my losses. :cry:

I am interested in the internals. Pending my finances are good at the time you sell.
