Nice build. Or you could have just gone full 2J. With that big turbo and v160 would have been perfect match IMO. g/l with it.

Guys, OneJAndy escaped from his confinements again.. dammit, when will he realize he needs to stay on the dyno until his car isn't slow anymore.

What do you think a spotless 1J bottom end with all ARP hardware and Clevite Bearings can hold?

Jostar;1636139 said:
^^^That will hold alot of power, talking to SP they believe that the 1Jz rods can hold more power than the 2jz rods, pistons are made if the same material if i remember correctly, you will be fine, after i reach my goal of 700-800hp at SP mustang dyno i will start saving for a better long block, I wanna try a new head that a friend is gonna work on, My friend Chris from head dynamics can make a head flow... he looked at my head once & was amazed on the stock ports, he said he has done a few 2jz heads& believes the 1jz can definitely flow alot more than a 2jz with the same headwork. We will see in the future.

I plan on doing 500-600 to the wheels on my 1J and make it reliable. Those numbers should come after I break in my engine on the stock fuel system and then throw on the bigger fuel system and head to the dyno.

so is a gt4276 a gt4294/gt4202 with a 76mm hot side instead of a 82mm?
i looked on pte but it doesnt show turbos when you click on large frame

if so i should find out how much it is to convert to that since i have to buy a new turbine and exhaust housing anyway, not looking forward to spooling a 82mm 1.15ar hot side :(

NO the compressor side is a 76mm wheel, I think GT42s are 71-74mm wheels...

I started working on the harness... cleaning it up make it look a lil better than before..., compressor housing got modded to fit our tight space in the MKIIII engine bay.
