what you talking bout willis?

He's just saying that they flow a ton of air, enough that if you were to put em on the ground and activate them that they would literally hover.

Right Ian?

sweet... im just concerned about fitment. I dont exactly have my supra infront of me right now but im pretty sure it'd be difficult to get a full sized E fan infront of the condenser between the drier and everything else thats there.

what? make it fit? use a shoe horn? Im sure its do-able but im sure your doing what i did and throwing one behind the Radiator between it and the motor. Thats easy. Done that already. Im sure the front side is alot harder than the back.

yeah man, i was just gonna do a fan delete and throw an electric one in the stock location behind the rad. i didnt even consider throwing multiple fans in diff locations...that and i'm just retarded today. it took me a couple reads to figure out what you were talking about in that previous post.

Never seen one sorry.

Pick up a 3640 lb MA70 and you can see them. Mine has one in front, one in back, and the stock clutch assembly.

For the O.P,if you want maximum cooling, instead of a range that ECU is set to see, hardwire a toggle switch in lieu of temp sensors. Don't forget to turn them on when you switch on the A/C. And install a new factory fan clutch. The only benifit is if you have a sideways engine, or you need to eliminate all parasitic losses, such as a track car.

He is talking about the electrics... efans.

FAL is flexalite also, just there import marketed brand.

I think the Supra FAL fan is just a colored Flexalite 210 also, the 210 is a bit cheaper too.

Local car here a Ford AU Falcon, I believe Ford Contour are simular.

mk2 guys use these fans all the time. ford contour here in the US, V6 ones only. a good, cheaper solution but I think this is an even nicer one:

I have one of these in my mk2. he makes one for the mk3 too. I can't remember phil's username on this forum, but he is here too, I think. Regardless, send him an e-mail. Details here: http://forums.celicasupra.com/showthread.php?t=37610

I don't have any complaints about the fans or his service. CNC laser cut aluminum. This being said, I would spend my money elsewhere before going with electric fans. Mk2's have a unique fitment situation that means electric fans are a good solution for a 7m swapped car. with a cooling system, reliability is paramount and that is not compromised at all with the stock setup...

Any electric fan worth relying on is going to put a beating on an 80amp alternator for DD use. DO NOT cheap out on this. That includes the wiring and relays/fuses.

The Flex-a-lite fan conotroller boxes are garbage. Twice on my car, the fans pulled enough current to melt the solder on the circuit board and have the terminal pull right off. I ended up modding the box with a separate relay.

I currently run a custom dual pass rad with electric fans and they cool fine. They are controlled by the MoTeC and in super hot out side temps, the car stays nice and cool too. :)

On a previous set-up, I ran same as brad and had no issues either.

I was fixing to get the Flexalite, but now I'm confused. You still think, it's a good buy, or not?

Thanks

Which temp. could it be "super hot" for him?
I know that 95/100 fahrenheit in Puerto Rico is "super hot" for me...lol.
