Never really driven a stock auto to know what they're like ;)

Sorry, Ian.

I was [sarcastically] emphasizing on my "not Stock" Auto setup...
(When it was merely a stock trans with a tranny cooler).

....Forget it. It must be a Korean thing. :icon_conf

When the temps here in AZ go up, that sucker kicks in and gives that little extra air pull through the AC fins/Tranny Cooler/Radiator, and it DOES make a difference.

I'll keep it and maybe make it do something some day. I need to fix the A/C (probably just need to convert to R134a and replace the drier), so with that not up and not having an auto, I'm good.

...and my car is a 90T/A, which has the higher rear gears (lower numbers). RPM's don't break a sweat at 80 in OD.

Yay Autos!

I will admit I'm jealous of the final gearing. I'd like to keep my 3.9 diff and go with an even taller ratio like .7 or .6 or so, that way I could keep the awesome acceleration but still cruise with it like it was meant to.

Oh good grief...

As if I didn't see something like that coming.

LOL.

In that case, I'll have one order of Roasted Kangaroo with some Vodka. :D

What?! Non sense.

You mean to tell me you don't eat Kangaroo's in the "Land from Down under"?

Pardon my ignorance, but I don't recall Kangaroo's in Russia.

I'm just a Korean Hillbilly. ;)

Orion ZyGarian - I may have been born in Korea, but I assure you where I come from, my neck may be as red as yours. :biglaugh:

You "manual is better" folks are aware that the ONLY reason race cars run a "manual" is because they prohibit a full sequential tranny in the class they run?

Now a days, it is not about power. It is about how fast can you mash the gears and how easy is it to change gearing in the tranny. A sequential will ALWAYS be king in this regards. Manual tranny are a band-aid for the team since they are not allowed to run what they really want which is a full sequential transmission.

auto/manual is only a concern for us that can not afford to flip 10k for a barebone seq transmission.
