I had some 275/40/17 up front like 4 years ago, it was a +35 ish rim
I might scan the pic, it looked pretty decent considering my age and income at the time
275's up front 17" no rubbing at all on my car. I don't know the offset because I bought my wheels used. I can try and measure them this weekend though if you need me to.
I run Steeda ultralites, I think the offset is +25, and my 255/50/17's rub on hard turns. It could be because the sidewall is so tall, Going to go with a 265/35/17 whenever I get some more money. Good luck on the 275's. Try this link, it has mucho info. http://www.4cefed.com/275sonfront.html
Depends on the tire. If you run BFG's, they tend to run a bit wider than most others. I have 255's on a 9" and it has no stretch but this is not always the case. I would suggest a 9.5" rim or a 265 if you want a square shouldered tire.
