Yeay I got one kit too.

It's perfect. the best i've seen so far.
The connections are perfect, notice that you'll have to put the braided lines into the fittings yourself, which is a pain in the rear.

The only negative thing I could find is the slightly too large hose which runs from the fuel line to the regulator. It has to be bent a little, because you can't make it a 'perfect fit' as the engine has to be able to move a litte.
With my engine, this hose started leaking a little at the fitting near the regulator and I didn't notice it until it was litterally spraying gasoline out.

I'll replace mine by a rubber hose without the braided steel, then it will be perfect. :)

At least this is my opinion. :)

I have thought about the short line that runs between the rail & regulator.

A while back, I did increase the length to accommodate engine movement. However, I still believe that under the most severe launches that the engine could move enough to compromise the hose seal. I think the braided line is pliable enough at the initial install but over time (like any rubber hose) will get stiffer and less able to handle engine movement. I do not want to make the line much longer than it is because I like the routing and clean look.

I will do some research on this subject and attempt to source a more pliable connector line. I have been making this kit for the MkIII community for several years now and have many satisfied customers. I welcome suggestions such as these. I want to make sure that this kit is the best out there at the most reasonable cost. By the time I put these together, I make virtually no money. Especially since Earl's and Aeromotive raised their prices in January but I lowered my price $15 to keep them moving.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If I may answer above, Yes he is.
Jeff is a nice guy and real trustworthy.

I ordered my kit with him but not before he answered some of my questions.
Answers were quite good and fast, as was his shipping. It arrived a few days after my payment even though I live in europe.

As i was reading this i felt a little ashamed because I did not already give my feedback to him. I think I promised I would.
But my feedback is honest. I'm 110% satisfied with the product and after shortening the 'short line' mentioned above I did not have a problem anymore.

The rubber hose I probably will be using is just for my own peace of mind, and maybe to make up for my own disability to mount it in a proper manner.

I have the same one but got if off suprasport. I paid about 15 more(with shipping) but I got a J-tube blockoff plate. Also I think it looks a little better since it doent have those blue fittings.

SW - Keep in mind that the SupraSport kit does not include the inlet side which replaces the pulsation dampener. They charge an additional $55 for this "add-on". So they charge $300 fo the base kit and $55 for the dampener side...$355 total.

My kit has always been a complete solution since I believe that the pulsation dampener is a significant source of restriction. About six months ago, I took a price reduction to $280...or $75 less than SupraSport. The difference is that I don't make these kits for a living and can afford to make them for virtually no personal gain. It's basically a hobby for me and I like meeting new MkIII folks...all over the world. It's amazing how many of these I've sent to Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

As far as the block off plate, every one of us already has a block-off plate on our cars. In the instructions, I tell the buyer how to cut off the j-tube and clean it up for re-install. I did this three years ago and it still looks great...not that anyone sees it anyway.

The blue/red fittings are a sign of quality. Earl's fittings are about the best you can buy and made right here in the USA. I can't tell the origin of the SupraSport components, but if they're not Earl's or Aeroquip then I wouldn't use them. I have personally handled a thousand Earl's fittings over the years, and have had only one defect (malformed gasket). It went back and I received a credit promptly.

I like the personal dialog and frank discussion. Thanks guys!
