I have thought about the short line that runs between the rail & regulator.
A while back, I did increase the length to accommodate engine movement. However, I still believe that under the most severe launches that the engine could move enough to compromise the hose seal. I think the braided line is pliable enough at the initial install but over time (like any rubber hose) will get stiffer and less able to handle engine movement. I do not want to make the line much longer than it is because I like the routing and clean look.
I will do some research on this subject and attempt to source a more pliable connector line. I have been making this kit for the MkIII community for several years now and have many satisfied customers. I welcome suggestions such as these. I want to make sure that this kit is the best out there at the most reasonable cost. By the time I put these together, I make virtually no money. Especially since Earl's and Aeromotive raised their prices in January but I lowered my price $15 to keep them moving.

I'll replace mine by a rubber hose without the braided steel, then it will be perfect.
At least this is my opinion.
