ok im wondering if anyone has ever had to deal with a stalker, i got some kid for the last week now thats been stalking my little sister and i chased him off the property last night about 1am, he had 20 seconds start on me so i didnt catch him arrrggg

we have called the sherrifs, but they said they cant issue a restraining order untill we tell him he is not welcome. and they need an addy for him to serve it.. But 2 years ago my pop caught him in our basement and said he would shoot him if he ever came back,

thats good enough warning IMO. she has seen him for the last week everynight outside her window and im starting to think he is progressing and getting bolder. Im camping out tonight with my ar-15, open season on his ass....

AR in close quarters? I'd worry about over-penetration and stress-aiming. That's what my 12 gauge is for........Less likely to shoot the kid AND your parents on the other side of the house and you don't have to aim as much, but you have the right idea.

hmm, how old is this kid?
and does he talk? maybe he is lonely, and maybe your sister is egging him on.
i can understand if he is like 13 but if dude is like 16+ hmm kinda weird.
catch him and ask him questions
just shooting the poor bastard is kind harsh dont ya think?
but if hes 16+ fill that fucker with some good ol' america lead.:bigun2:

The weapon itself has nothing to do with what I was talking about, I was referring to the round it's using the 5.56mm/.223 cal. round. Any rifle round isn't really ideal for home defense. A pistol is OK, but a shotgun is best. I've been taught by Navy firearms instructors, police instructors and civilian instructors - they all agree.....there are no warning shots and you only shoot what you intend to destroy - always shoot for center of mass.....no leg/arm/di** or any other body part shots.

Not tryin to be an ass.....a gun's meant to kill. If you try to do otherwise you could put yourself or other members of your family at risk by either A) letting this guy do what he wants by missing or B) Collateral damage from a miss or ricochet...meaning possible injury to yourself or your family. This guy is a dousche and needs to be stopped, but guns are the last resort.

Well a long time ago this guy kept following my cousin home from school. She was young, in elementary school. My dad and my uncle followed the guy home and had a talk with him. I know they brought a gun along, so they probably said something like "if you don't stop, you're going to get it.."

yes i agree, the .223 is not the best home defence weapon, since it will continue to travel after striking the target, or wall or whatever, like i said i dont want him dead.. yet.. but hes getting bolder.

If he's in your house, I'd say he's pretty fucking bold and beyond reasoning. A nice .45 cal. JHP or OO Buck 12 Gauge will stop that real quick.

well two nights ago, he entered the basement door and was spying on my sister and her boyfreind while they were watching a movie, no one saw him but he left the door wide open and the foot prints were the same as last nights prints.. so im guessing it was him..

Well if it must be a gun, I'd prefer an air rifle.... hurts as hell, but won't do any serious harm - well, depending on the impact spot.
My brother and I did some testing with some chicken leg left over from Christmas... the results were quite promising :D

edit: yeah, a paintball gun would be kinda cool too.....

one round to each foot, tackle, hog tie, trunk, desert, long talk & ditch the fucker. If he comes back, one round to the chest or stomach..

+1 for sticking up for your family :)
