Alternatives to a Supra....don't hit me!

I am ROYALLY PO'ed at the moment :(

AutoAdvan called me this morning as my Skyline had arrived on the loading docks and they were going to call me back in an hour once the container had been unloaded.

An hour later, i got called with some bad news. The car has been damaged in transit :3d_frown:

Someone apparrently didn't secure it or pack it properly on the Japanese side of things and during its sea voyage had scraped the whole passenger side along the container wall - the wing mirror is broken off and the paintwork looks like someones attacked it with a sander. So, autoadvan thankfully returned my deposit along with an apology and asked me to pick out another one if i wished, and they'd waive the shipping fee's if i did.

Somehow i don't think i'm going to be going through them again :(

Shit happens :(

They'll waive the shipping fees, I'd give em another shot as it's not that a business doesn't make mistakes as they all do, but it's how they handle them.

I have a Ford Focus TDCi 1.6 as a DD, and the Supra (eventually, when its FINISHED) for Fun.....but i'd like a 3rd now, and have been thinking of a few other choices.

Clearly, it HAS to be either RWD or 4WD, and 6 or more cylinders :D

I LOVE the I6, but a V6 is good too, Turbocharged, N/A either way, more than 200hp is a requirement, unless it's lightweight.

Cars that have made the list so far:

EU Spec BMW E30 325i (2.5 I6 N/A, RWD)
8th Gen Mitsubishi Galant VR4 (2.5 V6 TT, AWD)
Nissan Skyline R33 GTR (2.6 I6, TT, AWD)

Can anyone think of anything else?

How about an oversized oversized SUV with a 6.0 V8 and 367 hp and 375 lb/ft of torque?

Hehe - i've already settled on a Skyline thanks guys....and Nick - theres no way in hell i'm getting an SUV for one person! And with a 6 litre engine it'd be financial suicide!

Some might say you account for the mass of two.

Any particular reason you aren't considering a car that isn't already in the country? It's not like there isn't many to choose from. You might struggle finding a 100% unmodified virgin example, but with the credit crunch well and truly hitting home, they are some bargains to be had -
