Wet Noodle Crank? Explain!

R33 and R34 look virtually identical from the outside...and on the inside, barring the computer on the R34.

The Lancia is UGLY? Good job i'm not italian, i'd have to send the cosa nostra around for that ;)

Crank is small and flexy, they beat the snot out of bearings from what the guys were telling me.

There are a LOT of big power RB motors here as they were fitted to VL Commodores back in the late 80's.

Yeah i was reading up about that - apparrently, the RB's lack any sort of oil cooler, thus making the bearings rather unhappy indeed :(

Tomei make a few crankshaft kits, stock and stroker, but the price....eeee!!!! :nono:

Not looking to make more than stock power though - this i'd be keeping stock as possible, and leave the tuning to the Supra...where its cheaper :D

E30 Touring?

Pick up a minter for £1500, stick on H/R Cupkit suspension and a set of R888 Road legal slicks and go hunting for some barrys. I mean, who's going to suspect an estate car?

Here's mine

Not bad for £140 delivered huh? :)

I say Lancia and dont look back.

The Skyline is neat too, Only if its kept stock tho. Maybe throw some newer style Meshies(AKA period) on it, But even at that, a stock skyline is pretty cool IMO. I would do the lancia.

It's tough to find a good set of 5-spoke chunky looking splitrims....hell even just 5-spokes are hard to find without stupid bling factor added...

I want to go back to 1997 - wheels were so much better back then...

BTW, i put down a deposit on the R33 - it's mine :D

Euro spec e36 M3...DO ETT. Join the "BMW clan" I did...with a US spec e36 M3, but damn do I miss my supra :( Why can't I have both!?!?!?

I agree with this dude. :) I just picked up a '95 M3 (e36), and I fucking love it. It's a great daily driver, handles incredibly well for a stock car, and has gobs of daily drivable power (not like my Supra, though).

Mine's Cosmos/Black leather, 5 speed, 87k miles, paid $6500. Sorry for the crappy pics, they were taken with my phone, except the last one. Also, the bodywork has been done to the rear already, and you can't even tell there was work done! Looks PERFECT! Click to enlarge:

(By the way, I still have the Supra, and my '94 Toyota 4x4) :)

Edit: Bah, I see you sprung for the Nissan. :(

BMW's are just vandal magnets though - my '89 520i was TRASHED in the first week i was at uni - declared a write off :(

Although, that is one sweet ride shaeff...

Yeah, i went for the Skyline - i thought to myself 'fuck it, i have one opportunity to get one of these at a dealbreaker of a price in near original condition without any mods done to it'. AWD and about 260rwkw (340 or so hp) and in stock condition, fairly reliable.

Now i just need an HKS SLD and a pair of HKS 2510's :)

I require a ride in the GTR as soon as you get back to London ;).

Nice buy, it sounded like you had your heart set on the GTR from the original post. Is it already in the country? And what's the state of play with insurance?

my alternative is obviously my cressida, as i do not have a supra... but i hope to become a new owner of a MKIII pretty soon if i can settle everything with the current owner. it's stock for the most part (or practically most of it), so it'll give me a chance to start from the ground up and allow me to learn the car's limits! it'll be my first 2 door and i've always wanted a sports car to look pimp in when i don't need to scare people with the cressida :)

plus i wana see if it can hang with the cressida :p

and i have a 1J sitting in the garage for it as well :D
