technically it has less K/Cal per gallon then gasoline but with the higher octane rating it can compensate with a leaner mixture and more advanced timing
thats funny i am building a honda civic, driven by a fuel cell ( actually several, but we just say fuel cell), so if you guys want pics i guess i can post, either way fuel cells are very efficient, output isnt that high tho.... either way, thats y i chose a civic....
I will be running full methanol. BUt some of you knew that already
Fuel mileage? well, i will burn just over 2 gallons in one 1/4 mile pass, so that equates to, oh about 1/8th of a mile per gallon (under wot and full boost of course) :evil2:
Ya none for us in all of New England, I think the closest is like Pennsylvania...I don't know much on this topic though. I'm learning more from every page of this thread lol.
Nick: Sort of hard to say at this point as the first conversion I added a whole 2nd fuel system to the car so it increased by about 300 Lbs once it was fueled up.
My fuel capacity even with just the LPG tank in this time is +20 litres so there's almost 50 lbs and the LPG tank is very thick material so minimum another 50>100 lbs.
i just looked up some locations on that site for e85. looks like the AFB i am on is getting it soon. that is sweet! i might convert when i find out the prices on it. considering its already at 3.21 here for only 92. :nono:
