It is not a byproduct, it creates a smoke screen and you can see a long trail and smell it. I will get a picture today and post it up. Thanks.

What isn't a byproduct? A little smoke? Or your smoke. I hope you mean yours. :)

Typically on valve seals, it only smokes on start up. Smoke all the time is usually a worn engine.

Yes, smoke on rev after idle and then when you hold the rev, it is a smaller trail but still viewable.

I know about a worn engine but this is a fresh new rebuild with rings. I posted the rings gap specs in the post above and they are in spec. I have no clue and don't want to go through the time of removing this turbo and then find out it is not the problem.

I will do the compression test tomorrow and see what I get.

Are your rings staggered properly? Seated properly? If it is worse at idle and not so bad at rpm, i would be led to believe that rings would be the cause. Unless by chance you have a pcv issue.

Issue? There was none, I just ran a hose from the turbo intake pipe to the throttle body, skipping the valve covers. I was not hooked up properly and skips the main part, the crankcase. I just did this to get the engine to idle and did not bother to hook it up until everything else I checked turned out to be fine.

LOL! Thanks A Lot Jetjock, Always Good To Take The Sarcasm And Intelligent Insults Because It Actually Helps You Learn And Know What Douchebag Kind Of Things Your Not Supposed To Do, Especially On An Engine As Sensitive As A 7M.
