What I do is cut it down with a grinder. Usually keeps the fraying down to a minimum.

Then, wrap the end with electrical tape. This keeps the frayed wires kind of straight (they will go through the tape..)

Then, grab the base of the an fitting (usually red) and "screw" it onto the hose, until the hose is bottomed out on the lip of the red piece.

Then, take the upper part of the an fitting (usually blue) and put a little bit of oil on it and screw it into the red piece until its tight. And that's that.

Sorry if it doesn't make sense.. that's about the best I can explain it without pics.. and I'm on my phone right now so pictures are a bit difficult.

Electrical tape whoda thunk! god i am retarded that would make sense and save me from getting utterly destroyed by those frays.......................................which really hurt and stick in your skin.

just ordered the last parts to get this car runnin! should be here by next friday? :O

i do have one request...anyone have one of those banjo pipes that go on the banjo bolt for your oil pan? (for the oil cooler) i need one :)
