Alright lets pool the 7m info in one thread to help everyone out including myself. the stinger thread in the standalone section is basicly all about the 1jz.

Ive been searching for 2 days now and it seems 90% of information is concerning the 1jz so whoever is running a stinger on a 7m post up and lets see some maps, calibration files, and results..

Also i believe the stock CPS can be retained correct? if not what are you using and what settings did you use to set it up properly.

I am glad someone did this!

I would love to gain a little more infomation in regards to tuning 7m's on EMS stingers.

I "believe" I am still running the standard CPS

im looking into the stinger 4 (4424) because i dont need many features. i was originally planning mega squirt but upon further investigation its too much work for my current position. i just dont have the time to figure it out, the stinger seems much easier.

Andy: your running a stinger? and running stock CPS? or are you asking?

I've been looking into this as well I think that Jugodegolf has this on his MK3 with the 7M the one that is still alive RIP other car!:(

I know that there is another thread where someone got 600rwhp on a 7M with the stinger as well.

I want the new one with full control of the timing for a 2 step.

George does have the stinger 4424 on his '92. I'm sure he'll be interested in this thread.

I am running the 4424 and yes, I believe I am running the standard CPS (not 100% though)

i have only owned the car for about 3 months so still learning.

It hasnt had its first power tune since run in yet so I cant comment too much on it.

I would however be keen on seeing some other pplz maps as mine has a terrible cold start at the moment.

I am also running a Stinger on my 7M and unlike alot of others i actually made my own harness and everything else so if u have any questions feel free to ask. Quake is the the stinger 7m guru tho but its very unlikely he will ever jump in this thread.

to answer the first guys question the CPS trigger wire and sync wire are all u need from the stock CPS

running an ems 8860 here for the last 3 years.

very easy to use ecu. only dramas i had with it was when i first got it - despite still being on the market for about 2 years prior to me getting mine, the ecu didnt have all the features it was advertised with.

it was marketed as a full sequential setup however took about 3 years since the day it was released that u could send them back for they upgrade to sequential.

likewise theres 7 digital output however was only 1 when i got my ecu.

little shit like that was very disappointing.

the cold start up on these are nowhere near as comprehensive as some of the other ecu's out there (autronic/vipec etc). im not usign the iscv and although car starts up first crank and all, dont get factory like driveability till about a minute into the drive

how do people want maps? screenshots or the actual file?

the map on the RIGHT was original tune. the one on the left is just a smoothed out one

Hey Disturbed,

fellow aussie I see :)

it would probably help mate if you listed some mods to get a better idea of the tune.

i might compare my fuel maps to yours on crank over as mine takes about 20 cranks before ignition, then runs rediculously rich until warm.

nice!

I might see what I can adapt from it.

I have a built engine with a t04z, 440cc injectors (putting the 750cc in this weekend).

It will be going out to get dyno tuned in the not too distand future anyway.
