That guy is a friend of mine. He's running an 88mm turbo on there right now. Crazy fast and LOUD AS F***!

Most likely valve tick if you are running stock injectors, 550s+ are a little noisy. The 7M has a somewhat tappy top end as is but I would recommend checking your valve lash as needed maintained is often skipped on these cars.

That just mean they may be out of spec (shim wise) you just need to check and re shim if needed, i havent done it yet because im short on time. I dont see it hurting anything other than maybe making parts wear out faster.

I havent had time to check mine yet but i do know two other people who got their heads done by the same place their valve clearances were out of spec, so its safe to say its probably on the loose side considering they had to get thicker shims.

Depending on how many valve need to be reshimmed check first then add up cost of which ones you need.

The clips are on the intake side you'll see them they should be red and grey/white, no it'll just kill fuel to that cylinder. You can also take a screw driver put it to your ear and probe around.

My new setup has a lot more rasp.... Tubular exhaust, medium single, and full exhaust. I will make a video. I always like the sound of a fairly stock 2J with just exhaust and IC setup. Decently quite but a noticable note! And mine is a good bit quieter now but has a nice rasp as the RPMs come up! I will get a vid asap!
