i've noticed that there are alot of guys on here making well over 400 whp and i was wondering, has anyone here heard of www.7mpower.com, i'm not affiliated with the site or anything i just thought it was kinda pathetic that their cutoff is 400hp and there are only 23 members, supraforums once did a list of 1000whp MK4's and there were more than 32 . Anyway its a great site and gives our cars a place to show that we're not all just POS wanna be MK4's so check it out and maybe join up if u make some serious power

some day i'll break 400rwhp.. ;)

You'd have to remove two of your sparkplugs, then maybe you'll make 400rwhp...............;)

You may even have to loosen your i.c. clamps...............lol

7mpower.com is defunct. that was based on standards set 10 years ago. things have progressed and here is what ive learned since then;

400rwhp is a joke.
bolt on turbo's are jokes too.

we own supras. Go big or go home!

a SMALL single is anything under a 67mm inducer
Mid sized singles are anything between 67mm and 76mm.
BIG singles are the bad bitches over 76mm!

Pump gas is Gay!
20psi is Gay!

maybe this is just what happens when i see GT42 powered mkiv's all day. maybe i got like this from having new standards that i picked up from MKIV people. i think ive adopted an MKIV ambition.. maybe thats just how we roll in florida though. from what i hear... most of the country thinks 400-500hp is "Big power" on a 7M. if you ask me... 400-500rwhp on a MK3 is "alright" or "decent".

im sure ill get flamed for saying those things. but, i beleive in surrounding yourself w/ people who Exceed your current status and itll force you to strive to be better than than them.

if you surround yourself w/ BPU mk3's who are satisfied w/ mediocre results, you will only strive to be mediocre.

i surround myself with people that have big budgets, big singles and big power. it makes me work harder so i can keep up and strive to exceed them. it might seem like ive got a big budget. the truth is, im the epitome of a Broke ass MK3 owner, ill admit it. im Ballin on a budget. you just have to know how to fabricate, innovate and be frugal. be smart w/ your money. i dont have $5000 to lay down on a big single project. i have a $500 turbo. i make my own parts. its how i plan to stay one-step behind the big-budget MKIV people.

live in the pond, not the fishbowl.

i live for daily drivability with along with the ability to stomp on it and not have to wait for power. i like it on tap immediately.

how many 1000hp + supras can be daily driven comfortably? i'm guessing not many. after i get my new turbo on and tuned, i should be over the 400whp threshold, and i'm sure it'll still be just as daily-drivable as it was when the car was stock...

Thanks for writing that. Now I won't have to make any comments about the retarded post(above yours)about dyno queen MK4's.

Well I threw about $2000 into my $900 supra and made 360@13psi with a slipping clutch. With a new clutch it runs 18psi no problem, so I"m confident it will make over 400hp. Point is 400hp is cake if thats your goal, the 7mpower cars also have alot of extras (bodykits, paint, rims) that make them look the part.

any chump with $5k can safely make 400+rhp.... ask me how i know :)

honestly 90% of the work done on my car i paid someone else to do just because i'm too busy to do it plus i don't want to break anything... when things are settled with my business and i have more time i'll get more hands-on time with my supra.....

but it's not hard to get 400, not even that hard to get 500 or 550..... 600+ is really where i think you have to "talk to your car" and know her inside and out... know her limits, and when you have to do every thing yourself more or less, be a good fabricator and tweak/work hard for every +10hp gain.

other then an exhaust mani, FFIM and bigger injectors i'm starting to reach the point where i simply can't buy stuff to make more power and sooner or later i gotta get my hands dirty, read up and get very technical/intimate with my car :)
