7mpower.com is defunct. that was based on standards set 10 years ago. things have progressed and here is what ive learned since then;
400rwhp is a joke.
bolt on turbo's are jokes too.
we own supras. Go big or go home!
a SMALL single is anything under a 67mm inducer
Mid sized singles are anything between 67mm and 76mm.
BIG singles are the bad bitches over 76mm!
Pump gas is Gay!
20psi is Gay!
maybe this is just what happens when i see GT42 powered mkiv's all day. maybe i got like this from having new standards that i picked up from MKIV people. i think ive adopted an MKIV ambition.. maybe thats just how we roll in florida though. from what i hear... most of the country thinks 400-500hp is "Big power" on a 7M. if you ask me... 400-500rwhp on a MK3 is "alright" or "decent".
im sure ill get flamed for saying those things. but, i beleive in surrounding yourself w/ people who Exceed your current status and itll force you to strive to be better than than them.
if you surround yourself w/ BPU mk3's who are satisfied w/ mediocre results, you will only strive to be mediocre.
i surround myself with people that have big budgets, big singles and big power. it makes me work harder so i can keep up and strive to exceed them. it might seem like ive got a big budget. the truth is, im the epitome of a Broke ass MK3 owner, ill admit it. im Ballin on a budget. you just have to know how to fabricate, innovate and be frugal. be smart w/ your money. i dont have $5000 to lay down on a big single project. i have a $500 turbo. i make my own parts. its how i plan to stay one-step behind the big-budget MKIV people.
live in the pond, not the fishbowl.
