I had the new LSD put in today and the gearing is really weird. For one full turn of the wheel its moving the driveshaftabout 4.1. it looks more than 3,91 and less than 4.30, its just barely getting past 4.

Sounds like you've got a 4.1 torsen diff. It's not a USDM diff. Take it easy on the launches, they apparently like to break from hard driving.

I think its a 3.91, I was running with a car that was going 75 and I was at 3100 RPM. The Dif says LSD just like my old one and the housing is the same.
It came off a LHD car. I should have the new speedo gear in about 3 days then I will test it further.

FYI - R154 Speedo gears don't fit the W58. The gear itself has a smaller diameter.

ok, so u had a Japanese spec w-58, same what i had to put on my car, The gear on the japanese w-58 is smaller, But the speedo cable still works with it, but throws the speedometer off pretty bad.

Okay, I've never heard that before. Where'd you get this info? I'm not the only person with an N/A who's swapped in a taller diff and had this issue. I could see it being a revision thing, but can't imagine any reason why they would use a different size gear in a different region. Seriously, I'd like the source... if there is a gear that'll fit I'd like to get one. I've recalibrated my speedo for the time being, but my odometer is still off a bit.

yeah, I"m guessing mine is to, i hate it, that's why i'm gonna get a different US spec w-58 with the Original size odometer gear.

Verify your info. I'm doubtful of its accuracy. My engine and transmission are, to the best of my knowledge, stock USDM.
