my srt-4 is faster than half the cars on here, with about 3k in mods.

The only things wrong with SRT-4's is:
- Usually owned by dumb kids that run around with open downpipes (or around here a 4" side dump)
- It's FWD
- It's still a neon
Outside of that, it's cheap, fast, reliable (for how cheap it is), and is useful in actually carrying people and things LOL.

Just because you spend money doesn't make your car fast.
You buy all the goodies, for a 7m, 2jz or 1jz. If you suck at driving it will be slow, if you are a shit mechanic or take it to a shitty shop it will still be slow.
I mean I'm running 14 PSI on my mk4 right now with the 67mm out of my mk3 and it's making about 420 WHP and maxing out the 440's. It's trapped 90 in the 1/8th and most likely will do 115 down the 1/4. However, with a shitty launch I'll still be in the high 13's.
That mk3 was slow as shit because that srt4 doesn't look fast at all.
Srt4's are fast I'll give credit where it's deserved, anyone that says they aren't is on another planet.... There aren't many 4 bangers that virtually go 12's with factory mods....

SRT/4 guys also hate the "its a Neon" comment too. Gotta a buddy that talks shit all the time about his and how theres not a MKIII that could touch it cause he has the 60-1 Haun turbo kit, because all our cars are too heavy and only make 230 stock. Gives me more of a reason to mod the hell outta mine and put a Neon owner in his place.

Keep in mind I've been utterly destroyed by an SRT-4, so I have a LOT of respect for them.

also if he really has the 6spd in the gear, the gear ratios are too short for him to really do anything. Even with the 373's he needs something lower like the mkiv 3.2 rear end ratio. All he is doing is going from redline to redline every gear change pretty much and not using the car's powerband. That supra shouldve walked all ova that srt4, hell i raced one with my stock 7m stock turbo and pulled away. Freakin skittles lol

And a buddy of mine here has an srt4 @ 22psi and that thing is pretty quick, breaking traction in 3rd is pretty cool to me even if its a "neon"

What do you mean by favored injectors? And how is breaking traction and going nowhere cool? My buddy gave me a test drive in his 313 FWHP Eclipse Spyder and spun the tires doing 40 MPH (with decent tires) and went absolutely nowhere. Seems very pointless to me. Atleast with a RWD car if you spin the tires at speed you'll accellerate (and hopefully not crash) since you're transfering weight to the driven wheels and not off them (as is the case in FWD cars).
ok ok.... so just last week i talked to kyle hunter ( the owner of this car) about this video (not even knowing it was posted up here lol) and anyway... when this video was taken was the day he got the engine put in the car... the first time ever driving it... so driver mod it is... well technically learning car mod lol.... and before this sad video was taken he asked the guy who does all the LIMA RACING videos to not put it on the internet because he was sure he was gona get beat.....
***edit**** oh and sadly this supra WAS beautiful.... someone was texting in their mini van and rear ended kyle ... insurance said it would cost like 6k to fix... =( but i think he is getting out of the supra game for a while and selling everything... he posted pics up of the accident on Ohiosupras.net
but yes that srt-4 WAS fast.... hint hint (was lol) he PO took all the aftermarket parts off and sold it.... then 2 weeks later BOOM.... one of the rods said F**k this Im out....

haha.. sorry but SRT-4s are not fast.. They have to be pretty heavily modded from what i'v seen. I'v never lost to an SRT-4 and i'v raced several that were modded. Hell i raced a modded SRT-4 that was on like 22psi, full exhaust and a bunch of other stuff, i smoked it and that was back when i Just had an upgraded CT turbo on. One night when i was driving my supra through Indy there was a group of SRT-4 guys that come up beside me. One of the guys in the SRT-4 was yelling at me calling my Supra an Old slow piece of SH*t and i just laughed .. Well to bad for him the light in front of us turned red, So he had to back up his mouth now. Light turns green and i was gone. I wait a while and let him catch back up and we went from a roll.. same out come. I pulled on him like he was going in reverse. Only thing i like about SRT-4s is the aggressive front end.. other than that its still a neon and FWD.
