what kinda turbo is in the srt-4? know what hes got for engine mods? just ask out of curiosity, ill be building mine over the winter and 450whp is all i want.

I honsetly dont know how reliable the setup was, but as i stated before, the ONLY things that were done to that car was a MBC set to 25ish on the STOCK turbo, some sort of exhaust dump, and a 75 shot. I cant remember if the big frount mount was on it or not when he did the pulls.

The car is in this video alot, along with others

aahh, that would explain the engine failure. that would be like running a stock ct-26 @ 20-21 psi.

There's always gong to be bizarre outcomes to racing every now and again, i have no idea why this bothers anyone. I once saw a Volkswagen beetle with nitrous win all events he entered at a local drag meet many years ago against some extremely tough cars, and we all laughed and enjoyed the entertainment.
The only fail is the owner of the supra that raced a car that had only just been modified and not properly tuned/setup, way to go dumbass.

The reason VW beetles win with such ease at the drags is weight. Power to weight.

Just don't try and turn corners with them or anything like that.

We have a few bugs at our local track that run 11's and they yank the tires way up in the air! One of them runs low 10's. The low 10 sec bug weighs under 2000 with driver!

Hahaha i love that bus, that's nuts. For some reason v8 owners get really sore after losing to a bug, my old bug i built many years ago was light enough for me to lift the front end off the ground and with a couple of mates we could lift the rear off the ground as well. one day i'll build another one with a subie motor.
