Well i have bad news i wont be able to make the convoy to dayton. A friend of mine passed this pass holiday weekend and the funeral procession will be held on friday morning @ 10am. I still have every intention on going, but ill just be leaving a few hours later, and ill be leaving out from lexington since i will be in frankfort.

Upon inspection, it looks like its a straight shot from georgetown and i can hit 75n right to dayton, google maps quotes me 2hr 34min

There's massive construction on the north part of 275 near I-75.

From KY, I-71 and I-75 combine on the KY side. They split back up at the end of the bridge as you enter Ohio. I'd suggest staying on I-75N and avoid 275 like the plague.

From south IN, I'd suggest I-74 to 275 EAST which will take you to I-75N on the north side of Cincy. The EAST lanes of 275 approaching I-75 from the west aren't in too bad of shape but most of the exits along there are difficult to get around and back on to 275 from.. You'll enter I-75 at around the 16 mile marker, so you're 3 miles from meeting at the Union Center Blvd exit 19 like I suggested above. I'd avoid waiting on the side of the road anywhere through there.

on a side note, i really hope the weather forecast improves. i decided to hold off on the meeting point since im not sure now who all is going. i think the final decision will be made tomorrow.

Well a little bit of rain isn't going to hurt anyone. :nono:

Me and Armando, at minimum, will be making the drive, rain or not.
Obviously if rain is scattered throughtout the forecast and is just pouring down rain, we'll reconsider...but a bit a rain isn't going ruin anyones day.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, Aaron. :-( An issue that I'd totally expect you to miss the meet for, but it's great to know that you'll still try to make the trip over.

My current Supra status: Turbo on the ground with a broken shaft, no fluids, major vacuum leak and a 6-7 hour window to fix everything.

But I'm still going to make the trip...

Wrench turning won't be much of an issue... Turbo was off in 30 minutes, changing the oil here in a few, then throwing the other turbo on there and calling it a day with a bit of friendly tuning/playing around with it to make sure it's safe to drive.

Also, for you, and anyone in the general area....We'll go ahead and meet up around 8:00AM'ish.......Still very much so weather dependant, but only if it's an absolute pour down. Drizzle, Sprinkle, Scatter/spreaded, We're still coming!!!!

Hope your knee is feeling better - it would suck if you didn't make it, especially since the weather's looking good for the weekend.

yep i got your txt. by the time i got home and got signal i thought it was too late to call you back.

my ankle is still really swollen. im keeping ice on it and hoping it will good by morning. i had the car ready, waxed and everything, plus the weather forecast really improved. and now this

im really really really hoping to make it, just depends on how its doing in the morning.
