we have talked about leaving around 9am or so. havent decided on a place yet, prob on the north side of town near 71.

I'm a little upset about missing Chi, so it's on you to make sure Ohio was the better way to go. :) The real disappointment there is that I was looking forward to meeting a few people who won't be making Ohio. I WILL make Chi2K8 by not planning any vacations for the month of August at all.

Anyway, give me a solid place and I will be there at 9am on the 1st. Looks like I might have a friend from North Carolina riding along, too.

Aaron, you're making it, right?!

Ok seems like my calender is clear for this event :bigthumb:

The only problem i have is i cant reserve a room because i dont have a credit card. My question is, would there be an issue getting a room when i get there?If not ill meet the friday morning convey and i can follow the other guys up :)

you shouldnt have a problem getting a room, even tho the reserved block deadline has passed. hotels.com still show rooms available in the area.

So there are a few things I might be interested in buying off of somebody coming to Dayton, in no particular order:

1. Boost controller & gauge
2. Turbo timer
3. Tanabe Hypermedallion or HKS Dragger catback
4. Intercooler - stock piping

Funds are tight, but if anybody has any of these and wants to talk about a sale at the meet, just let me know...

If we're talking stock, I only need the IC in good condition, because my IC fins are in rough shape but my piping is fine. LMK if you have any upgraded parts. Do you have a stock IC in good condition? Send me a pic or two of the stock IC and I will pm an offer. Thanks!

I'm kinda slow as what holiday is when, but isn't memorial weekend that same weekend? If so, I believe I'll have that friday off....

Memorial day weekend is the weekend before. It's perfect; Monday's a holiday, work three days, cruise to Dayton on Friday. How can you beat a three day work week with only one vacation day? :bigthumb:

I have just enough vacation days to head off to el Salvador the third week of Oct.....idk man.

Thanks Aaron, but I should be picking one up at the meet - hopefully in decent condition. I'll spend a little time straightening out the fins before I install it. Are you still planning on making it?
