Mk3's are great cars, but even with the financial backing most of you think the mk4 guys have they still will not be as good as an mk4 or the 2jz motor for that matter. 2000$ on an mk4 will go a lot farther in the HP category than it will on a 7m... That is a fact.
Look at all the BHG and knock knock joke threads on this forum...I lol at those of you that think differently.
BTW I have no need for 1000 hp (I think a 600 whp T67 or Gt4088R powered Mk4 is about the ultimate for power and response for road course duty's) but anyone that thinks a 7m is just as easy to make power with as a 2jz needs to have their head examined.
This all coming from a proud 7M owner who will be looking to ADD a 2jz powered 6spd MK4 to his stable soon
