Aeromotive...
Bellhousing is here had two revisions on it to get it just right.... The transmission is sitting next to it but no progress yet. Been crazy busy at work. I will post something hopefully soon. Probably just start a new tread once I make sure everything fits.
Get an engine management that actually works ditch the injectors and get 700-800cc.. Crank the boost to 25+ should get you 600+ on race gas. if you tune it right you can probably live at 500-550 on pump at 20-22 psi (if you get knock mix a gallon or two of race gas)..
If your loking for the best spool and power combination... Forced performance 3076... 500 on 20-25psi... Precision Turbos makes some kick ass combinations also..
~180 in the Switzer R900 GT2 Porsche... =) thanks DK.. and ~160 in the Switzer R1K R35... but that was a quick rip... (the car does 0-60 in 2.31 and 60-130 in 3.8...) The Supra up to about 170-175...
Hello Everyone. I know there are lots of GTR fans here so I wanted to share our first outing...
Last Tuesday we rented Summit Motorsports Park to see how some of our cars would do in the 1/4 mile. This was our first time taking a GTR down the strip and overall it was a good day.
There was...
How is the trans...? How many runs on full boost... What rear gear ,and what oil are you running in the trans and diff..
Oh one more thing what clutch.. =)... that might be what is saving your trans right now... LOL
I cant belive that trans is holding up...
BTW the Cam/Crank signals are...
Just geting parts together... Resplined the clutch trans is here... Bellhousing needs reworked... sending it back.... LOTS OF MESURING AND MATH... LOL...
I ill post some pictures soon... Acctualy might close this thread and start a new one just on the T-56 swap...
I think you should get your self a wiring diagram and follow that to wire your project the body stuff you can just swap from your car... You would need to run some power to splice into the 1JZ harness... The rest should be all there... Fuel pump is controled goofy on the supras... They use...
Get your self 300m coils... from a 3.5L or Intrepid coils. DSM's use them... they work great(and only $30each). I have them on my car... No problems at 35psi.. (with AEM TwinFire)
Didnt see the 440cc thing at first... Is that on the factory ecu or you have something to trim the fuel back....
I ran into this issue few years ago...
I might still have a hydroboost unit that would mount in the factory location. You have to plumb it in the factory PS system.. It will give you better braking also....
I have to see if I kept it or junked it ... LOL
LOL that was funny. It sounds like you would like to have optimal spool. Get your self ( its pricy but well worth it.) Forced performance GT3582HTA or GT3586HTA.... 650-700 wheel power but way better spool... Lag is similar to stock but when it hits hold on to your pants...
AEM is MK4 (1100 box with peak and hold box mounted directly on it)We used some of the stock harness the but the rest I build from scratch. I will snap some pictures of the supplies that I have...
There is a dedicated fuse block and relays for the Engine and Electronics. It does not go through...
Last the fan control module. We removed the fuse block and relocated the battery. I will post some more pictures once the new fuse block and power junction are installed... I know the cut off for the inlet tube is ugly but it will get fixed later we just needed the room right now.
