I cut the CC harness out of a junkyard car, as far back as I could (10-11"). I then got some serial cable PINs and crimped them on to each wire. The push right into the stock connector (radio shack). This allowed me to move it to the glove box.

Yes, craigslist does pay off on occasion. I know of 2 perfectly good non VVT-i 2JZGE engines bought here locally for less than $250 each w/ harnesses.

you will need to set the motor @ TDC and follow the TSRM procedure for installing the CPS.
