I've seen a lot of shabby fabrication including some of my early attempts but this looks pretty decent. The routing is good, sound materials are used, it's cost effective, and can be easily duplicated. I'd probably paint or even powdercoat the copper though.
IIRC, it was on our way to the 2007 meet and americanjebus was riding with me (ie not with his car) in a pretty good supra convoy and pretty heavy traffic. I suddenly had to brake hard because a white MKIV ahead of me slammed on his brakes then dodged to the right and I was confronted with a...
Wait, what about that time I so deftly avoided rear ending a MKIV and then dodged a lazy-boy on I-5 south in my '88? ;)
Contemplating going to this one....
omg....i'm not going to dignify myself with a response to that. :biglaugh:
I appreciate the feedback though.
Edit: Music credits go to Down By Law for the wannabe intro and then of course Minor Threat. Single layer editing sucks BTW.
;)
Just my first shot at a video with my new 3ccd panasonic and wmm. I didn't spend too much time on it but I'm alright with it. I'm planning on more and better...

Not at all because you can't run "open header" with a turbo installed.
I would be looking at either your return line being too small on the turbo/bad oil seals (like you said) or something amiss with the crankcase ventilation. How is your PCV system configured?
Very true. Replacing just the seal would be like placing a 'band aid' on a 3rd degree welding burn to the forearm. If you love your turbo, send it to MDC. I mean it! ;)
now, back to our regularly scheduled troubleshooting session...
Probably because it's designed to? :dunno:
My 0.02 euro: Just remove the pump assembly altogether and cap the lines down on the rack and when your girlfriend notices your arms a few weeks later just say this: "Supra, powersteering is for.....everyone else."
:biglaugh:
Well, is your engine still mostly stock? If you still have a stock turbo, fuel injectors, and fuel pump you don't need to worry about an aftermarket FPR quite yet. More info on your setup will help us help you.
Does the engine really have to be at op temp?
Also, I've never thought of checking the MIL to ensure proper 'jumpering'. Thanks ;) Please hold any RTFM comments...lol
If you often have to add oil between changes and don't have an oil leak then it very well could be bum rings. If you don't have to give it oil too much but still have visible oil smoke during normal operating temps then I would strongly suspect the oil seal on your turbine (hot side of the...
Maybe you should change your plates to "MY7MMK3"? You'd probably be happier with the results. Don't bother with the knock knock jokes either. ;)
Nate, that sig......
