i have read the same, but oddly just from a couple sources. I am not currently running mine on MAP as it is still in the autolearn phase but i will check back and let you know in a month or so when i have time to tune it.
owning a nicer-looking supra, i pretty much assume if they want something, they'll break in either way... plus good f-in luck getting that thing outta there, its rock solid :) oh and 5% tint usually keeps people from looking in... got me outta a broken window more than once.
thanks but no, i'm not using the IAT yet, still in the autolearning phase until i get some time to do it :)
but there's a lot of cutting involved in doing this...
first you have to make a mount for it on the stock ecu, cut the upper plastic piece so the ecu can fit through, cut 2 holes for the...
thanks but i already sold the ron r. mani... at first i was gonna do a big 7m build, then went 1jz, then ran into problems financially so i'm stuck with my 7m after selling all the parts :(
but its cool, just running 60-1 ct26 for now with 100 shot :)
so looks like if i mount the IAT...
just finishing up the MAP ECU installation, once i'm done i'll have pics (its hanging from the top of the glovebox, looks really nice) anyways in the instructions it claims that the IAT sensor should be mounted in the intake manifold itself, after the TB. Now this is particularly a problem for...
very true, good news though, i don't need to change the wiring at all, just add one in :) that makes me happy
however it asks for the baro input and vkf output wires and this isn't shown on the diagram... anyone have any clue which part of the harness that would be on?
o yea i am solder master :p but yea everything is clean and solid, just making sure i won't have any issues with it. That would suck having to not only tune the car to run, but possibly having resistance issues on the ECU wires, definitely wouldn't be fun trying to figure out whats wrong with...
thank you... now i get to rewire it FOR THE THIRD TIME! haha good thing i know now. But another thing i'm wondering, will solder effect the resistance on the wiring on the ecu? i've messed up the wiring 3 times now and there's lots of solder on about 6 of the wires :(
ok so i'm wiring up my MAP ECU (in the middle of it right now) and i pretty much got all the way through it and realized i was wiring it for AFM hotwire... now i'm starting to second guess myself and i'm wondering is a 91t hotwire, or Karmen vortex???
god i feel stupid
