I've heard about problems with this product, such as the car not wanting to start and loosing the tune. How true are these statments, I have one and am currently running the SAFC/MAFT and trying to debate between the two setups.

i have read the same, but oddly just from a couple sources. I am not currently running mine on MAP as it is still in the autolearn phase but i will check back and let you know in a month or so when i have time to tune it.

vf is the key. If you don't tune for vf, the TCCS is going to tune out your changes with any piggyback, not just the MAP-ECU. If you are losing tune with one of them, you'll lose tune with all of them because you aren't tuning the car properly.

If you don't know what vf is, please stop tuning your car until you do.

I'll bet you that anyone who is telling you they can't get a tune to stick with one of these piggybacks (any of them) also will look at you like you have three heads when you ask about vF.
