stupid... stupid question

ok so i'm wiring up my MAP ECU (in the middle of it right now) and i pretty much got all the way through it and realized i was wiring it for AFM hotwire... now i'm starting to second guess myself and i'm wondering is a 91t hotwire, or Karmen vortex???

god i feel stupid

thank you... now i get to rewire it FOR THE THIRD TIME! haha good thing i know now. But another thing i'm wondering, will solder effect the resistance on the wiring on the ecu? i've messed up the wiring 3 times now and there's lots of solder on about 6 of the wires :(

Solder shouldn't add any noticable resistance... unless you can't solder worth a damn and you're using very old wire. ;) Are the unions clean and solid junctions?

o yea i am solder master :p but yea everything is clean and solid, just making sure i won't have any issues with it. That would suck having to not only tune the car to run, but possibly having resistance issues on the ECU wires, definitely wouldn't be fun trying to figure out whats wrong with it. Thanks again!

Naturally, no matter what type of connection you're using you want to keep the splices as minimal as possible.

very true, good news though, i don't need to change the wiring at all, just add one in :) that makes me happy

however it asks for the baro input and vkf output wires and this isn't shown on the diagram... anyone have any clue which part of the harness that would be on?
