I ended up tracing the wire down to the igniter tach wire...so I guess the question now is which wire do I get the tach output from?..

I bought an aem v1 and the harness is pretty much plug and play but I'm having trouble identifying one wire that goes to the body harness side connectors(starter,clutch switch,ignition switch etc)...
The one I'm having trouble identifying is the IG-1 to m1 pin 4...I looked at the pinout on...
I put a k&n filter,downpipe and boost gauge today...took her out for a spin and was only 5psi at full throttle..at about 4-6000 rpm's it fell flat on its face, losing boost quick..
im sure I have a boost leak but my question is wouldnt it lose boost sooner than 4-6k?...also my bypass valve is...
trust me I wasn't too happy and I had him take it back and fix it
I skimmed over the couplings and didn't notice anything that stuck out but I'll be doing a leak check when I get it back... and it sounded like a balloon but also high pitched.. so I'm not sure if it was the exhaust leak since...
I got my car back today from the mechanic and took her out for a spin after not having it for 2 weeks and noticed it's not boosting like it was before I put the car in... sometimes hits 7psi but mostly 3-4 psi... the car was out in to change the oil pan gasket.
it sounds like a balloon losing...

there 2 connectors that i disconnected but i know theyre from the blower...i guess ill have to wait till i get the 89 harness to see if anything else works...i gotta figure whats wrong with my fogs and dome lights since it doesnt have anything to do with the harness
yeah the whole center console is out(cig lighter,ac control,radio)all disconnected.i took the fuse from the hazards temporarily to put the hid's in because one fuse was blown.
The m1 connector your refering to which one is it on the picture?...as far as getting readings on the gauges i won't...
here the connectors the one that im holding is the only one that connects to the 90 harness...i thought the fog relay is under the passenger kick panel?...does it go to the main harness or does it connect to one of those 4 connectors?

ok well i ended up junking my 90 7mgte because i found an 89 N/A targa for dirt cheap.i kept the 90 auto ecu and engine harness,and went to put my harness in but the 3 extra connectors (besides the 3 that go to the ecu) have different connectors.I just read on 4cefed that 89 was a transition...
