I was able to splice into the existing plug and the power seat works fine. Surprised me that the power seats over the MKIII model years are not plug and play but keep this in mind if you do a swap.
Reading the current thread about early Supra #389 got me thinking about the last of the MKIII production run. Mine was produced in 6/92 with a VIN 161,869. Seems late in the cycle to me but curious if it really is and how many have later production VINs. Matt
I have a 92 with the power lumbar drivers seat and am trying to replace with an older power seat with manual lumbar. I just realized the plugs are different. However they both have 3 wires black/white, blue, and red. Can I just splice them together? Please help so I can get my car back on...
The system on my 92 is still set up with R12 although it must have a leak because its not working again after recharging last summer. I was lucky enough to find some R12 last summer. With it becoming more scarce is there anywhere I can find it? Is it time to go to R134 or are there...

Final decided to disconnect the brake line and that allowed me to get the piston to compress. I then bled out the air and checked to make sure the piston...

How did your paint work turn out at Carter's collision awhile back? Is he reasonable? I need some minor work done and in the Raleigh area looking for paint recommendations. Thanks Matt
Thanks for the abuse...I guess it's well deserved. I finally got it off with a breaker bar I borrowed from a neighbor. Threads are fine.
I can't remember who suggested it from SM but driving up onto a couple 2x4's allowed me to get my jack under the front cross member which made things...
I'm a Noob to this forum but I have never had a problem getting the oil drain plug off until now (on my other cars). The angle of the plug will not allow me to get any leverage on my standard rachet. I have beaten on it with a hammer and still can't get it loose. I had it changed in the last...
