Power Seat Retrofit Issue

I have a 92 with the power lumbar drivers seat and am trying to replace with an older power seat with manual lumbar. I just realized the plugs are different. However they both have 3 wires black/white, blue, and red. Can I just splice them together? Please help so I can get my car back on the road. Thanks Matt

I was able to splice into the existing plug and the power seat works fine. Surprised me that the power seats over the MKIII model years are not plug and play but keep this in mind if you do a swap.
