yea maybe. i suppose i was just looking for an easier way to put it all back together. i think ill put it back together correctly. i need this engine to run well while i build my jdm setup.

so i should torque the studs into the block as well? and torque the nuts to 80 ft lbs? im going to search the forums more on this subject.

now the threads look longer on one side i forget which because im not at my shop anymore. should i be worried about block damage?

actually. i was able to pull the head off, without taking the studs out. luckily and unluckily for me, the last person to do the head modified(and i use this term loosely) the firewall a bit to get the head out.....
